I mailed our I-600 immigration form today. This is the government's form that goes to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. They check us out and make sure we're "good folk". Then, they'll send us an appointment for fingerprinting by the FBI. This will happen in Longview or Dallas. Not sure which yet.
I am just happy we're doing SOMETHING now after sitting (well, not really sitting, but the papers were!) for a month.
Once we find a psychologist or psychiatrist to do our psych evaluations (so many people have to prove we're "good folk"!), this will be the last item for our dossier. Yea, yea, yea!!!
